Eunmi Lee is an award-winning Korean-born, New York-based jazz pianist, composer, and bandleader known for her original music for both small ensembles and 17-piece jazz orchestra. Her debut album, Introspection, introduced a distinctive compositional voice that moves fluidly from intimate trio settings to sweeping large-ensemble textures.
A recipient of grants from the New York State Council on the Arts and the Queens Arts Fund, Lee creates a compelling body of work shaped by contemporary jazz, personal experience, and her cultural heritage. In 2026, her composition Enigma won the Portland Jazz Composers Ensemble Prize in the 45th IAWM Search for New Music Competition.
